Server / Account Activation. Hosting servers are set up & activated the same day. We will send Account Login Details to your e-mail address. Normally, you should receive your Control Panel login details within a few hours after placing the order. Exceptionally, if there is any problem, we will contact you.
Payment Terms. We do not need payment at the time of your order. All orders from Clients in Mauritius are processed immediately and payment becomes due upon the Client receiving the Login Details by e-mail. If you need payment facilities, please contact us, BEFORE placing the order. We will be pleased to discuss your needs.
Domain Name Registration. We will register your .COM domain name at the same time as we set up your hosting server (i.e. just after you placed the order) and your .COM domain name will become online within a few hours. For .MU domains, the domain will be registered after payment is received in full. In other words, .MU domain will become online 4 working days AFTER we have received the payment. We have to do this due to high cost of .MU domain registration and avoid any bad debts.
Domain Name Ownership & WHOIS Privacy. It should be noted that by registering domain names for the clients, Mauritius.biz Hosting DOES NOT become the owner of the domain names. Domain names are owned by the respective Client. For all domain name registrations, we apply domain name privacy & locking by default. Domain name privacy & locking is a way to safe-guard and protect the Client's privacy. Domain Name Privacy and domain locking hides Client’s e-mail address, postal address and phone number and does not make them publicly available via the domain WHOIS search on the Internet. This is only done to minimise the amount of Spam, Junk mail, and Telemarketing calls customers may receive and protects against identity thieves and unauthorized attempts to transfer the domain name. However, at any time Client may request us to have their own details publicly made available.
Client Acknowledgement. By placing this Web Hosting and/or Domain Name Registration Order, the Client acknowledges to have read our Hosting Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy and irrevocably AGREES to abide by the terms & conditions mentioned therein. The Client also acknowledges (under Data Protection Act 2004) that any & all information provided in this Order Form, may be publicly viewable via a Domain WHOIS query performed on a domain name via the Internet.
